L'oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation - Putting claims to the test

Happy 'Aw crap, we're loosing an hour of sleep' 

otherwise known as Spring Forward! 

I was finally able to do my 'Friday Testing' today! Sorry for the delay, I picked up the wrong shade and they did not have the shade I needed in-stock until today :/.

Just a quick FYI if you are interested in this product, classic ivory-the lightest shade(which is usually what I am in most foundations) is extremely light, I'm talkin' it was a "did I just sign up for clown college!?" light! The next shade up matched perfectly, hopefully you have better luck the first time around than me =) but I did purchase it at Target and as long as the receipt hasn't expired(even an open product) it can be returned/exchanged easily.

• Easy to apply
• Blends beautifully into skin
• Leaves skin feeling light & smooth, not sticky or heavy 
• Truly is a demi-matte (shine free and natural, giving a 'healthy' glow but without shimmer)

• Didn't need powder over it like most liquid foundations(even throughout the day)

Real Chick's Ruling: Everything has been true with it's claims...I have not worn it for 24hours though, I wore it 8 hours, and that included half the day riding on a motorcycle! I believe it would last up to 24hours, it wouldn't look the way it did as first applied but still would hold up. I recommend this foundation! It truly leaves skin looking flawless!

 1)Just the foundation, no concealer. 2) Gives a smooth,non cakey look

1) First applied 2) Almost 2 hours later after running some errands(TMI but consisted of sweating) 3) 8hrs later, after riding on a motorcycle for half the day.

The 8hr difference!

 

I was extremely impressed by the staying power! Usually at the end of the day my t-zone is showin' shine and coverage is fading but this has truly been the best lasting foundation I have found yet! It withheld through sweating during my errands(in and out of the hot car then hitting the cold air outside), cooking over a hot, steamy stove, and (like I haven't said it enough) 4hrs on a motorcycle. I believe that's putting it through quite a test!
